Message Week of February 20, 2012
I hope
that everyone is enjoyed their President's Day Weekend. This week we
will return from our Winter Break. We will be very busy.
On
Tuesday February 21 our students will be taking part in our, "Jump Rope
For Hearts," Program. The students will be raising money for the
American Heart Association. Also on that day our Grade 5 and 8
students will be taking the ACRE Test. These test measure their
knowledge of the Catholic faith.
On
Wednesday February 22, Ash Wednesday, we will begin the Holy Season of
Lent. We will be joining the members of Christ the King parish at the
8:00 a.m. Mass. The students as part of their Lenten prayer will be
collecting money for the Holy Childhood Mission.
Finally, on Friday
February 24 we will be praying the Stations of the Cross which will be
presented by our Grade 8 students. We are fast approaching the end of
February. Where is the year going?
