ACADEMICS

 

The Academic Program at Hillside Catholic Academy is designed to develop;

  • Students who understand the basic  teachings of  the Catholic faith
  • Students of faith who will develop a special and individual relationship with God
  • Active participation in the liturgy and all religious services.
  • Students who are life - long learners.
  • Students who are well rounded and seek learning.

TECHNOLOGY

Seven classrooms are equipped with SMART Boards.

Twenty-three new lap top computers have been purchased for the 2010-2011 school year.

Accommodations for students with certain learning disabilities can be made through the Union County Education Services Commission

 

                    The Early Childhood Program consists of;

  • Pre-K 3  Child must have reached the age of 3 by October 1
  • Pre-K 4  Child must have reached the age of 4 by October 1

The Early Childhood Program at Hillside Catholic Academy is

  •  A Christ-centered education
  •  A hands  on multi-sensory experience
  •  Activities that increase fine and gross motor skills
  •  Art

Extra Curricular Activities

Hillside Catholic Academy offers the following Extra Curricular Activities;

  • Junior National Honor Society (Coming in 2011 - 2012)
  • Student Government
  • Boys Basketball for Grades 4 thru 8
  • Girls Basketball for Grades 4 thru 8
  • Cheerleading for Grades 4 thru 8
